The 2024 JAZZ, BLUES & BBQ FATHER'S DAY FESTIVAL is a Live Concert Event in HUNTSVILLE, ALABAMA! This is a Ticketed Event, open to the public for ticket purchase, and will feature nationally known musical artists with "LIVE BANDS" in Jazz, Blues and Old School Rhythm & Blues, maybe some Country as well as a few local artists in the mix.

Headlining the show is 3-Time Grammy Winner "BOBBY RUSH", the legendary blues and soul artist, will grace the stage with his electrifying performance. From soulful ballads to foot-stomping blues, Bobby Rush knows how to captivate an audience. Don’t miss this chance to witness a living legend in action!

Co-Headlining on the Jazz side is "ALEX BUGNON", the jazz virtuoso, will enchant you with his smooth melodies and soulful improvisations. His piano skills are unmatched, and his music transcends genres. Get ready to be transported to a world of jazz magic!

Special Guest: Marion Meadows, Saxophonist extraordinaire will be joining Alex on stage, his soulful saxophone solos will weave a melodic tapestry that’ll leave you breathless.

Local celebrity Microwave Dave, is a proud representative of Huntsville's musical legacy, Microwave Dave continues to inspire and entertain audiences with his electrifying performances and unwavering dedication to the craft of blues music. Another well known local Band perfoming live on stage is The JUICE BAND, With their infectious energy, diverse musical influences, and unwavering commitment to excellence, The Juice Band continues to captivate audiences and solidify their reputation as one of Huntsville's premier musical acts. Cruz the Dame, the sensational vocalist and entertainer, known for her soulful voice and dynamic stage presence, will perform live on stage for the first time in Huntsville, Alabama! As always as a DeeJay between sets to keep it "All Live Every Time"

Featuring Huntsville's "Super Dad" Father of the Year Contest, where you submit a short essay on why your pick is the greatest. This contest will be judged by an independent panel of sponsors and local government. Also featuring Huntsville's "Grill Master" BBQ Contest that contestants may enter and will be judged by an independent panel, made up of sponsors, local government and possibly a celeb chef or local food critic. Prizes and/or trophies will be awarded to the winners of both contests live on Stage by Host "CHUBB ROCK"!

General & VIP entry, General, VIP and RV Parking, General and VIP tent areas where people can set up chairs, bring a tent or blanket (10' x 10' Max Size), VIP Stage Side Tables and Chairs, VIP Gazebos with a 10-Chair Table are all available for purchase. Package pricing discounts on some tickets.

Meet & Greet Tent will be set up in the VIP Area to visit with Artists and have a refreshment. (Must have VIP Admission and Meet & Greet Ticket).

A Kidz Zone, with fun and games will be set up and fenced for the little ones to enjoy the day as well!

The Jazz, Blues, and BBQ Father’s Day Festival will be a gathering like no other, where families and friends unite to honor dads in style. From the smooth melodies of jazz to the soulful tunes of blues, live music will permeate the air, creating an ambiance of joy and celebration.

But what truly sets this festival apart is the opportunity to crown Huntsville's 2024 Super Dad and Epic Grill Master. Fathers from across the city are invited to showcase their grilling prowess in a friendly BBQ competition. Judged by a panel of culinary experts and esteemed community members, the hunt for the best BBQ in town will be fierce, with bragging rights and prizes up for grabs.

"We wanted to create an event that not only celebrates fathers but also highlights the talents and skills they bring to the grill," said Jerry Harvey, event organizer. "The Jazz, Blues, and BBQ Father’s Day Festival is our way of saying thank you to all the dads out there for their unwavering love and dedication."
