Marion Meadows, an American soprano saxophonist and composer, is primarily associated with smooth jazz. Born in West Virginia and raised mainly in Connecticut, he released his debut album as a leader, For Lovers Only, in 1990. Meadows has successfully evolved from avant-garde and post-bop to contemporary jazz and R&B, consistently riding the charts. Beyond music, he is an avid cyclist, accomplished photographer, and visual artist, having earned his Doctorate in Arts and Humanities from Wilberforce University in 2016.
